New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Nishan.

Nishan was last seen on June 26 at approximately 4:00pm in the Queensborough neighbourhood of New Westminster. Nishan is described as a 28 years old South Asian male, standing 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue turban, black and white letterman style jacket, a white t-shirt, and a backpack.

“We are asking the public to help us locate Nishan,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “As you move through the region this weekend we ask that you keep an eye out for him.”

Nishan may be using public transit. If you see Nishan police ask that you call 9-1-1 without delay.
