*Update* – Bela has been located and is safe.

New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for a high-risk missing youth Bela.

Bela was last seen on July 2 at approximately 8:00am in New Westminster. Bela is described as a 14 years old Asian female, standing 4’11” tall, weighing approximately 88 pounds, with long black hair, fair skin, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, grey sweatpants, and carrying a white purse with a gold chain.

“We are asking the public to help us locate this youth to ensure her well-being,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “She may be in spaces where there is free wifi such as malls or cafes.”

Bela has been known to use public transit and frequent shopping centres in Burnaby. If you know the whereabouts of Bela please call 9-1-1.
