One count of assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada
One count of unlawful confinement, contrary to Section 279(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada
One count of assault, contrary to Section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada
One count of breach of a no contact condition, contrary to Section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

One count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, contrary to Section 264.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Edward Soviak remains in custody. Sentencing is scheduled for August 2025.
