The New Westminster Police Department is investigating a pedestrian struck by a vehicle that occurred in the morning of December 18th, 2024 in the 300 block of McBride Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle remains on scene. All the contributing factors of this incident are still under investigation.
McBride Boulevard is closed to traffic in all directions between 6th Avenue and Memorial Drive. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes. The closure is expected to last for several hours as police investigate the circumstances of the collision.
