New Westminster’s favorite summer tradition is back

New Westminster – Staff and volunteers are excited to announce that Soccer School returns to Queens Park in New Westminster July 22nd to July 26th 2024. Parents and guardians can register their children through Eventbrite March 2nd at 8:30am. Volunteer coaches may also register online March 2nd at 8:30am.

This popular event is for children five to ten years of age who are interested in improving their soccer skills, having fun, and fostering a positive bond with local police and first responders.

“The camaraderie at Soccer School puts a big smile on my face,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “Before you know it the fields at Queen’s park will be hive of activity. Kids reunite with old friends and make new ones; it’s a joy to see.”

“A big shout out to our returning sponsors,” stated Constable John MacDonald. “Your continued support is a testament to the community spirit of New Westminster.”

Tickets are anticipated to sell out quickly. Parents and guardians are encouraged visit Eventbrite on March 2th at 8:30 am to secure their tickets. Tickets are $150 (plus registration fees) per child, which includes five days of soccer instruction, t-shirt, and soccer ball. Soccer School runs from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Monday to Friday.
