New Westminster Police Department officers arrest and charge third suspect in kidnapping investigation

New Westminster – On the evening of April 25th, 2023 New Westminster Police Department officers learned that a New Westminster resident had been kidnapped.  The New Westminster Police Department Major Crime Unit took conduct of the investigation, and following the rescue of the hostage, two men were arrested and charged.

Both Kyle Clark Dimond and Marc Kevin Valcourt were charged with numerous offences including kidnapping with a firearm, forcible confinement, and firearms possession.

On December 9th, 2023, with the assistance of the Kitimat RCMP detachment, Jordan Bullach was taken into custody and charged in connection to the kidnapping.

29 year old Jordan Bullach of Kitimat has been charged with the following:

Kidnapping with a firearm contrary to section 279(1.1) of the Criminal Code;

Unlawful Confinement contrary to section 279(2) of the Criminal Code;

“The New Westminster Major Crime Unit will not rest until every person involved in the planning and act of this kidnapping has been arrested and charged,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver, “This investigation is by no means over.”
