Halloween Safety Tips

As Halloween is fast approaching we have some tips for drivers. πŸš—
You must be extra, extra careful especially when driving down residential streets with parked cars. Children may be in the street and they may not be looking where they are going.
To help yourself see those trick-or-treaters please clean your windscreen inside and out. A dirty windshield can make driving at night more difficult. Additionally, this is a great opportunity to make sure your back up camera is nice and clean.
Keep distractions, like your phone, out of reach. Halloween night would also be a good night to minimized light pollution inside your vehicle and keep the volume of the tunes low to improve your overall awareness of your surroundings.
Finally, if you are driving on Halloween night, expect that traffic might move a little slower than usual. Give yourself extra time to get to your destination so that you don’t need to rush through neighbourhoods. Stay safe and have fun!
