New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Kwane Ashong.
Mr. Ashong was last seen on April 24th in the Sapperton neighbourhood in New Westminster. Mr. Ashong is described as a 51 yer old male, with a grey beard, and short afro. Mr. Ashong was last seen wearing a black jacket, white and black loafers and dark grey pants. Mr. Ashong is known to frequent the North Surrey, Whalley neighbourhood. Mr. Ashong may be using public transit.
“We are asking the public to help us locate Mr. Ashong as he is in need of urgent care,” stated Sergeant Andrew Leaver. “Mr. Ashong’s medical team is very concerned for his well-being.”
