New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for missing person Shawn Guimond.
Mr. Guimond was last seen at approximately 3:20 pm on June 11th, near Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Mr. Guimond is described as a 42-year-old indigenous male, 5’6” tall with a slim build and long black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans carrying a black backpack.
Mr. Guimond lacks transportation and housing resources and has been known to frequent the area of Surrey Memorial Hospital.
“We are asking the public to help us locate Mr. Guimond to ensure his well-being,” stated Sergeant Jeff Scott. “Mr. Guimond has no wallet, no cellphone, and he may appear disorientated.”
