New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking public assistance in the search for an elderly man with dementia, Joseph Eberl.
Mr. Eberl was last seen at approximately 9:45 am on March 3rd, near Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster. Mr. Eberl is described as having olive skin, standing 5’10” tall, medium build, salt and pepper hair, and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue Fortex jacket over a red shirt, blue jeans, and hiking shoes.
Mr. Eberl may appear disorientated and lost.
“We are asking the public to help us locate Mr. Eberl,” stated Sergeant Jeff Scott. “Police and caregivers are concerned for Mr. Eberl’s well-being and believe he may be in need of medical attention.”
