New Westminster – On December 5th, 2019 at 12:35 pm the New Westminster Police Department attended to a financial institution in the 600 block of 6th Street, New Westminster for a report of a robbery.
The suspect allegedly entered the bank and demanded money before fleeing the scene.
After reviewing evidence, the male suspect was identified and later arrested without incident.
40 year old Leonard Norgren has been charged with the following offences:
- Robbery, section 344 (1) Criminal Code
“Thanks to the cooperation of residents and the work of our officers, this suspect was arrested,” stated Sergeant Jeff Scott. “We’re happy no one was injured and this man was arrested without incident.”
