New Westminster – At approximately 10:45am on May 24th, 2018 the New Westminster Police Department responded to a domestic dispute call near Colbourne Street in New Westminster.
One person was briefly detained near the area of 1st Street and 6th Avenue by New Westminster Police Department constables. No arrest was made in connection with this event. The detained person was released by New Westminster Police Department constables shortly thereafter.
There is no risk to public safety. This incident was investigated and there was no evidence to suggest a crime was committed.
