The New Westminster Police Department wants residents to be aware of the following recent crimes so that residents can take precautions:
- Queensborough continues to have theft from autos and theft of autos.
- Remember to lock your doors, and take your valuables inside.
- Report all suspicious activity.
- Break-ins to the underground parking lots of apartment buildings in the uptown area (Royal Avenue to 6th Avenue, 5th Street to 8th Street).
- Report suspicious activity.
- Do not let people in to buildings who do not live there.
