New Westminster – On October 25 2016, the New Westminster Police Department called for the public’s assistance locating 32 year-old Florence Leung of New Westminster who was reported missing by her family. The New Westminster Police are sad to report that on November 15 Florence Leung’s body was recovered in the waters near Bowen Island. The family has been notified of this tragic turn of events and the BC Coroner’s Service has been advised. Foul play is not suspected.
