for insta

Do you have a design idea for the New Westminster Police Department’s Hummer H2?

The police department is looking to artists age 25 and younger to design an artistic vinyl wrap for the Hummer H2 which will be used by our School Liaison Officers through the streets of New Westminster. Learn more about the Hummer in our recent media release.

The winning artist will get to:

  • Have their own design turned into a vehicle wrap for the Hummer!
  • Tour the graphics studio Fine-line Signs & Graphics to see the installation of their design.
  • Ride in the Hummer at one of the New Westminster’s next big events.
  • Meet with a member of New Westminster Police Department senior management for an official thank you.

Artists are asked to consider the themes:

  • Your local police
  • School Liaison Officers
  • Our motto, “We’re here for you.”

Submissions will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the deadline May 11, 2016 at 3:00pm. The winner will be announced on May 13th, 2016.

The contest is open to:

  • Youth aged 25 and younger currently enrolled at any New Westminster school.
  • New Westminster residents aged 25 and younger.

Artists must consider the surfaces of the vehicle which will have the vinyl wrap applied, for example there can be no graphics in front two windows and front windshield. A detailed outline of the vehicle as well as the submission form is available below. Artists may submit multiple designs. One submission form should accompany each design.

Best of luck to all those who submit designs. Questions can be directed to Tim Callaghan at 604-525-5411 or at
