New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department Major Crime Unit is seeking the assistance of the public to reunite two sisters. 76 year old Sandra Wilson has not been seen or heard from by family for several years, and they are looking for any help to find her.
The Major Crime Unit became involved because Ms. Wilson is said to be schizophrenic and diabetic. She is originally from Newfoundland, but has been living in the Lower Mainland for most of her adult life.
“There is some level of concern for Ms. Wilson’s well-being given the number of years that they have been apart and her medical background. However, we remain hopeful that someone will recognize her and provide us with information about her whereabouts,” stated Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “Because of this concern, we are seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.”
