New Westminster Police Department seek witness for hit and run

New Westminster – On November 28th 2015 at approximately 11:15pm, a driver called NWPD to report a male lying on the road in the 400 block of Brunette Avenue who appeared to have been stuck by a vehicle that did not remain on scene. NWPD patrol officers responded to the injured pedestrian, who appeared to have injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle. The adult male was transported to a local area hospital for his injuries and remains under the care of doctors.

“We are asking for anyone who may have information or who may have witnessed the collision to please call us,” stated Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “The pedestrian is in stable condition at a local area hospital, and our investigators and Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Team are conducting a thorough investigation.”
