Robbery Suspect Arrested and Charged

New Westminster – On October 31st 2015, the NWPD investigated a robbery that took place at a bank in the Uptown area of New Westminster. Over the course of the investigation, the NWPD Major Crime Unit identified and arrested 26 year-old David Frederick Daniel Pullen of Surrey, BC.

NWPD Major Crime Unit has an active investigation where additional charges will be recommended; however, Mr. Pullen is currently in custody and charged with the following offenses:

  1. Robbery – section 344(1)(b) Criminal Code in New Westminster
  2. Robbery – section 344(1)(b) Criminal Code in Surrey

“Robberies have an element of violence and are dangerous to the public,” stated Media Relations Officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “The efforts of our detectives, in collaboration with the Surrey RCMP, led to the successful arrest of Mr. Pullen, who will be appearing before the courts for these offenses.”
