New Westminster – On November 6th 2015 the NWPD requested the assistance of the public in locating Howard Solomon O’Soup, who had several outstanding warrants for property crime offences in New Westminster and surrounding jurisdictions.
On November 19th 2015 the NWPD Street Crime Unit, located and arrested Mr. O’Soup for the outstanding warrants and for two new charges of break and enter. Mr. O’Soup remains in custody and is charged with the following criminal offences:
1. Three counts of Break and Enter section 348(1)(b) Criminal Code in New Westminster
2. One count of Break and Enter section 348(1)(b) Criminal Code in Langley
3. One count of Break and Enter section 348(1)(b) Criminal Code in North Vancouver
“A Break and enter is a very invasive type of offence that affects the entire community,” stated media relations officer Acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “The excellent work by our Street Crime Unit lead to the successful arrest of Mr. O’Soup, who will be appearing before the courts for these offences.”
