New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department has responded to a cougar sighting in the Glenbrook neighbourhood of New Westminster. This area backs on to a wooded ravine near Glenbrook Drive. There are numerous police resources in the area advising residents and trick-or-treaters of the sighting. A Conservation Officer has been assigned to this matter and is attending the area.
The NWPD is asking that people phone police if they see the animal and remind them not to approach it.
