New Westminster – On October 28th 2015 at approximately 6:45pm the NWPD responded to the 1000 block of 4th Avenue to assist the New Westminster Fire Department with a vehicle fire. After the fire was extinguished, one deceased person was located in the vehicle. The NWPD Major Crime Unit is in the initial stages of the investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
