NWPD Seek Public Assistance Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

New Westminster – The NWPD’s Major Crime Unit is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect believed to be responsible for three separate sexual assaults.  On July 7th, 2015 between 4:10 and 4:40pm, it has been reported that an unknown male grabbed the buttocks of three different female victims in the downtown core of New Westminster.  In each of these incidents, the male approached the victims from behind and sexually assaulted each of them by grabbing their buttocks and then fleeing the scene without saying anything.

The Major Crime Unit is working with the South Coast BC Transit Authority Police who are also investigating a report of another occurrence, similar in nature and location which occurred on July 4th, 2015.

The suspect male is described as being approximately 18 years old, with a slim build and long blond hair that may be pulled back in a bun.  He was wearing a red t-shirt and patterned shorts and was carrying a skateboard.

If anyone has information about the identity of the individual in the photo, you are asked to please call the NWPD at 604-525-5411 and ask for Detective Dave Dorazio.
