New Westminster – On June 3rd, 2015 at approximately 6:45pm, members of the NWPD responded to a complaint of a male and female fighting in the 1500 block of 8th Avenue. As a result of the initial occurrence, members located a deceased female and have taken a male into custody.
At this stage of the investigation, details of the occurrence are limited. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called out and will assume conduct of the investigation with the assistance of the NWPD Major Crime Unit.
As the investigation progresses, updates will be provided by the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
