NWPD seek public assistance in break and enter

New Westminster – On the morning of March 9, 2015, the NWPD responded to a complaint of a break and enter at a residential building in the 1000 block of 6th Avenue. The victim, an elderly male, reported an unknown male had forced his way into his home, pushing him to the ground and taking the victim’s wallet from his bedroom before running from the building.

The male is described as follows:

  • Caucasian, 45-55 years old
  • 5’6” – 5’8” with a thin build
  • balding, black hair that is short on the sides
  • wearing a dark hooded ski jacket with beige under the arms
  • blue jeans and dark low rise boots

Investigators have located security pictures of the male believed to be responsible for this incident and are asking for public assistance in identifying the person in the pictures. This occurrence is currently under investigation by the New Westminster Police Department and anyone who may recognize the male in the pictures is asked to contact Cst. Ryan Newman at 604-525-5411.
