New Westminster – On January 30, 2015 at about 1404 hours, New Westminster Police responded to a report of a stabbing at 1005 Columbia St. On scene police located a male who had been stabbed; the male was transported to hospital with unknown injuries. A Portion of the Columbia Square Plaza is closed due to the investigation. The New Westminster Police Major Crime Unit is conducting the investigation. Update to follow this weekend.
