New Westminster – Brenda MOFFAT was returning home in the evening of October 30th, 2013 when she was struck by a pickup truck in the intersection of 9th Street and 4th Avenue. BC Ambulance was called to the scene, but MOFFAT succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
The NWPD Traffic Unit has conducted a thorough investigation and the following charge has been approved against the driver, forty-nine year old David Wilson, a New Westminster resident:
- Drive Without Due Care Sec 144(1)(a).
The next court date is scheduled for November 12, 2014.
