New Westminster – On October 30th, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the New Westminster Police Department received a call regarding a possible shooting in the 800 block of 12th Street. An unknown male attended the victim’s residence, an argument ensued which resulted in the victim being shot. Witnesses report a white Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck leaving the scene shortly thereafter, but no license plate was obtained. The victim, a thirty-nine year old Vancouver resident, suffered non-life threatening injuries and has since been released from a local area hospital. The NWPD advise this was a targeted shooting and the Major Crime Section is currently seeking witnesses.
