New Westminster – On Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at approximately 11:00 am, a lone female was walking east in the 1800 block of 7th Avenue when she passed a male that appeared to be urinating in public. The female continued walking for a couple of blocks when this same male snuck up behind her and groped her in a sexual manner. The female screamed, resulting in the male fleeing on foot. NWPD members responded to the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect was described as follows:
- White male in his 30s
- Approximately 5’10” tall
- Clean shaven
- Wearing a grey toque, green t-shirt, beige shorts, white running shoes and white socks pulled up to his knees
