New Westminster – On April 17, 2014 at 3:44 am, NWPD received a report of an alarm sounding at a restaurant in Columbia Square. Patrol members arrived on scene and found evidence of a suspect being inside the business, but the suspect had fled the scene. After a thorough investigation involving members from the Patrol Division and the Forensic Identification Section, Shane Harold Davidson, a forty-one year old Burnaby resident, has been charged with one count of Break and Enter.
Accused Davidson is currently in custody and is facing a number of additional counts of Breaking Out of a Place from jurisdictions throughout the Lower Mainland. His next court appearance is May 12, 2014.
