New Westminster – On February 12, 2014 at 8:22 pm, a taxi driver picked up a customer at the Edmonds Skytrain Station in Burnaby. The lone male pulled a knife on the driver and stole a sum of money from him. The driver was then forced to attend a convenience store in New Westminster where the suspect attempted to force him to withdraw some cash. The driver was able to escape before withdrawing any money.
The New Westminster Police Department are seeking assistance from the public to identify the male in the below noted photos. His description is as follows:
- Caucasian Male
- Mid 20s
- 5″ 6’ – medium build
- Black jacket with large white letter V
- Dark jeans and white runners
- White ball cap
- Distinctive tattoos on hand
