New Westminster – On October 15th, 2013 at approximately 4:00 pm, members of the NWPD patrol division attended to a report of residential break and enter that had occurred earlier in the day at an apartment on 11th Street. The investigation has now led to the identification of a suspect and the NWPD are seeking public assistance in locating and arresting him.
Howard Solomon O’Soup, a 36 year old male of No Fixed Address, is currently wanted on one NWPD Warrant for Breaking and Entering (Sec. 348 (1) of the Criminal Code). O’Soup also has an outstanding arrest warrant for Breaking and Entering from another Lower Mainland Police agency from an incident that occurred in March of this year.
O’Soup is described as a First Nations male, 5’10” in height, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about O’Soup’s whereabouts is asked to contact the on-duty NWPD Watch Commander at 504-525-5411 or Metro Vancouver Crimestoppers at 1 800 222-8477. If observed, members of the public are asked to call 911 and not approach O’Soup or attempt to take action themselves.
