On July 10th, 2013 at approximately 8:00 pm, NWPD patrol members attended to a residential break and enter in the uptown area of the city that had occurred sometime earlier in the day. The investigation has now led to the identification of a suspect and the NWPD are seeking public assistance in locating and arresting him.
Brian Joshua Sunshine, a 27 year old male of No Fixed Address, is currently wanted on one NWPD warrant for Breaking and Entering (Sec. 348 (1) of the Criminal Code). Sunshine also has an outstanding arrest warrant from another Lower Mainland police agency for an unrelated drug charge.
Sunshine is a non-white male, 5’8” in height, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about Sunshine’s whereabouts is asked to contact the on duty NWPD Watch Commander at 504-525-5411 or Metro Vancouver Crimestoppers at 1 800 222-8477. If observed, members of the public are asked to call 911 and not approach Sunshine or attempt to take action themselves.
