On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, Gemma Snowball passed away due to injuries suffered after being struck by a motor vehicle on Monday, March 11, 2013 in the intersection of 6th Street and 6th Avenue in New Westminster. Gemma was originally from Australia was currently residing in New Westminster.
The fatality is currently under investigation by the New Westminster Police Traffic Section and it is unknown at this time if charges will be laid.
