Homicide in New Westminster – Suspect Description Provided

On September 29, 2012 just after 10:00 pm the New Westminster Police Department received a phone call to assist the BCAS for a stabbing victim in the 500 block of 3rd Avenue.

BCAS transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 5:44am

Witnesses in the area spotted a male running from the scene and investigators are asking for public assistance in locating this male.

He is described as an Asian male, mid twenties, approximately 5’5” tall, short black hair, muscular build, wearing a black muscle shirt and grey shorts.

The next-of-kin notification has yet to be completed, therefore, the identity of the victim will not be released.
