The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing elderly male. Iain John Summers was visiting his daughter overnight and wandered away from her home early in the morning. Summers suffers from Alzheimer’s and high blood pressure.
The family became very concerned when Iain Summers’ girlfriend arrived in the morning at 09000hrs to pick him up from New Westminster and he was not there.
The missing person is described as an elderly Caucasian male, 5’8, medium build, wearing a tan jacket and tan slacks. Summers usually sports a straw hat with a multi-colored brim; he walks with a pronounced stoop and shuffles his feet. According to his daughter, Summers did not take his morning Alzheimer’s medication and also suffers from high blood pressure. He is not known to frequent transit and is likely to be disorientated at to where he is.
