On Monday February 6th at approximately 20:29 Hour, a female parked her vehicle on the Eighth Street side of the New Westminster Senior Secondary School. While exiting her vehicle, she was confronted by an unknown male who grabbed her, pushed her to the ground and then sexually assaulted her. The suspect is described as follows:
- Caucasian male, in his 40’s
- Short stocky build, not fit looking
- Short dark hair
- Wearing a camouflage jacket
The Major Crime Unit is investigating this incident and anyone with information regarding this serious assault is asked to contact Detective C. JOHNSTON at 604-525-5411 or the New Westminster Police Service Tip Line at 604-529-2430.
