On Monday January 10th at 0238 Hours, New Westminster Police patrol officers located and arrested Forty-Six year old Susan Smith.
Smith had escaped from police custody in Burnaby on Friday January 7th and was subsequently subject to an arrest warrant for escaping lawful custody.
Smith was arrested in the 12th Street area of New Westminster without incidence and turned over to the Burnaby RCMP.
