Return Of Fugitive On “CON AIR”

In September 2010, the New Westminster Police Service conducted an investigation into a male who was wanted on multiple warrants from Sarnia, Ontario. These serious offences dated back to early 2006 and included firearms offences, weapons offences and failing to appear.

On November 6th, 2010, 31 year-old Robert George WARNOCK was arrested without incident by an alert member of the Integrated Road Safety Unit during a Counterattack roadblock. WARNOCK was then remanded into custody by the New Westminster Police Service. On November 10th, 2010, WARNOCK was escorted back to Ontario by members of the New Westminster Police Service where he was turned over to the Sarnia Police Service.

This is the 8th fugitive that has been escorted out of British Columbia by the New Westminster Police Service on the “Con Air” program since its inception in 2008. New Westminster Police service will continue to work hard to bring justice to persons fleeing to this province while facing serious criminal charges.
