On Wednesday, October 13th at 0233 Hours, the New Westminster Police were dispatched to the Eight-Hundred Block of 12th Street on report of a male that had been stabbed. At scene, officers located the injured male laying on the ground. The male had suffered two apparent stab type wounds to the upper left chest.
B.C. Ambulance Service attended scene and transported the victim, a Forty-Eight year old New Westminster resident, to Royal Columbian Hospital. The injuries were not reported as life threatening. Further details are not known at this time however, witness information indicates that a male observed in the area may have been involved.
Suspect description;
-Caucasian male, 40-45 years old, brown balding hair, 165 cm, moustache, wearing glasses, brown jacket.
