On August 26, 2010 at approximately 3:20 A.M., the New Westminster Police Service received numerous 9-1-1 calls regarding the sound of gunshot fire in the Twenty-One Hundred Block of Dublin Street.
Police officers immediately attended the area and cordoned off the surrounding streets. At scene, officers confirmed that a residence and a vehicle had been struck by bullets.
Major crime and forensic investigators are currently on scene gathering evidence and conducting interviews with residents.
No one was injured and it is unknown at this time if it was a targeted shooting. The investigation continues.
