On April 10th, 2010 at approximately 2130 hours, members of the New Westminster Police Service responded to a business in the 800 block of Boyd Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival it was quickly determined that unknown suspects had fired a number of rounds into the business where several employees were having a party. There were no injuries suffered by any of the occupants.
The NWPS Major Crime Unit has assumed control of this investigation. There are no suspect or suspect vehicle descriptions available at this time and it is too early in the investigation to determine if the incident was gang or drug related.
