New Westminster Police Return Male To Calgary On Outstanding Charges

On March 17th, 2009 the New Westminster Police escorted a male back to Calgary to face a number of outstanding criminal charges he was facing in that jurisdiction. Edward Stephen LUJANG, a 35 year old male currently of No Fixed Address, was wanted by the Calgary Police Service for the following offences:

  1. Two counts of robbery (Section 344 Criminal Code)
  2. One count of Uttering Threats (Section 264.1 Criminal Code)
  3. One count of possession of a weapon (Section 88 Criminal Code)
  4. Two Counts of Breach of Recognizance (Sec 145(3) Criminal Code)

LUJANG was arrested on March 12th, 2009 and remanded in custody while NWPS investigators arranged to have the Alberta radius arrest warrants endorsed in BC. Once that was complete the warrants were executed on Mr. LUJANG allowing for his transport back to Calgary.
