The New Westminster Police Service is investigating a report of a robbery at the Royal Columbian Hospital.
At approx. 2:30 pm two suspects approached the hospital pharmacy clerk demanding narcotic medication.
One of the suspects reportedly produced what appeared to be a black handgun. The clerk turned over a small quantity of pharmaceutical medication. The two suspects fled the scene. Witnesses in the hospital parking lot observed the suspects enter an awaiting vehicle occupied by a third suspect. The vehicle fled the area.
- Suspect #1 Caucasian male, 20-30 years of age, wearing a black hoody jacket, wearing fingerless gloves.
- Suspect #2 Caucasian male
- Suspect vehicle described as a newer white pickup truck, possibly a GMC, the vehicle did not bear license plates nor a canopy.
