New Westminster – On January 21st, 2014 at approximately 2:10 pm, members of the New Westminster Police were dispatched to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 1300 block of Salter Street. Upon arrival, members located an 18 year old male victim suffering from a significant stab wound, and arranged for him to be transported to a local area hospital by BC Ambulance personnel.
The NWPD Major Crime Unit has now taken over this investigation and are now looking for three suspects:
Suspect # 1 (male with knife)
– White male
– 19 to 20 years old
– Medium build
– Wearing a grey hoodie
Suspect # 2
– White male
– 19 years
– small build
– wearing a black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans
Suspect #3
– White male
– 20 years old
– 180 lbs
– Brown hair
– Hazel eyes
The male victim is expected to survive his injuries, however he remains in hospital in serious but stable condition. The investigation thus far indicates this was a targeted attack, however it is unknown if there are any gang connections.
