Dog bite puts two adults in hospital

New Westminster – On July 23rd 2015 at approximately 2:45 am, members of the NWPD responded to an apartment building in the 300 block of Ash Street for a report of a disturbance where a male and female could be heard yelling, and a dog barking.

Members gained entry into the suite and located two adults, a male and a female both with dog bites to their head and face area.  Prior to police arrival, the dog, had been secured on the balcony of the apartment.  These individuals were transported to a local area hospital where they have been treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
