New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 60 year old Bill Lakatos. Mr. Lakatos was last seen on July 11th 2016 in a park located in the 300 block of Carrall Street in Vancouver, but the family of Mr. Lakatos have not seen him since March 28th, 2016 and are asking for assistance to locate him to ensure his well-being.
Mr. Lakatos is known to spend time in the Vancouver Downtown Eastside and Burnaby, and does not have a known fixed address. Mr. Lakatos is described as a Caucasian male, standing approximately 5’8”, weighing approximately 200lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
“Mr. Lakatos was only recently reported to us as missing, and we are asking for the public to help us locate him to ensure his well-being,” stated Media Relations Officer acting Sergeant Jeff Scott. “We have been in contact with surrounding agencies, and are asking if anyone sees him to please contact us.”
