BEFORE YOU APPLY:

The application process for the NWPD is an extensive one. Please make sure to allow yourself sufficient time to complete this process. It is recommended you review our minimum requirements and preferred qualifications [1] before you submit your application.

By completing this application, you acknowledge and understand honesty, integrity, and lifestyle are areas we scrutinize closely when considering applications. All questions in the below documents are necessary for this purpose. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure their application is accurate and complete as incomplete or illegible applications will not be reviewed.

Applications are valid for one year from the date of submission.

All documents submitted with your application become the property of the NWPD and will not be returned to the applicant.

The majority of NWPD communication is sent via email with many directed through our Applicant Tracking System – BambooHR. Unfortunately, many of our emails end up in the applicant’s spam folders leading to missed invitations and important communications. It is your responsibility to check your email inbox and spam folder frequently. It is also recommended you add emails from NWPD as well as BambooHR to your safe contacts.
