New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for missing person Rachel Smith.
Ms. Smith was last seen on November 17th in New Westminster. Ms. Smith does not have access to a vehicle and has been known to hitchhike through numerous Lower Mainland Region municipalities. Ms. Smith is described as a 36-year-old Caucasian woman, who stands 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 140 lbs, with short brown hair and brown eyes.
“Ms. Smith may be hitchhiking through the province,” stated Sergeant Justine Thom. “We’re asking for the public’s help in locating her as soon as possible. If you know of her whereabouts please call 9-1-1 without delay.”
