Update – We’re happy to share that Maxine Wright has been located and she is safe. A big thanks to everyone who assisted in the search.
New Westminster – The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for missing person Maxine Wright.
Ms. Wright was last seen on November 13th at approximately 7:30 pm in New Westminster. Ms. Wright does not have access to a vehicle and has been known to take public transit through numerous Lower Mainland Region municipalities. Ms. Wright was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with buttons down the front, gray knee-high socks, a beige coat, a red bow in her hair and a three strand pearl necklace. Ms. Wright is described as a 40 year old Indigenous woman, who stands 5’6” tall, weighing approximately 160 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.
“Concern is growing for the safety and well-being of Ms. Wright,” stated Sergeant Justine Thom. “We’re asking for the public’s help in locating her as soon as possible. If you know of her whereabouts please call 9-1-1 without delay.”
