The New Westminster Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that used a gun to rob a local convenience store.

On April 21st, at approximately 1:50 PM, a lone male entered a local convenience store in the 700 bk. Carnarvon Street and produced a handgun and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and left the area on foot.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, late 20’s, 5’11”, 150 lbs, pockmarked face, blue eyes, short blonde curly hair, wearing a light blue short-sleeve jersey with white stripes on the side of the body and a white logo on the chest. The suspect also had a tattoo of a capital letter “E” in block lettering on his inner right wrist. There is an attached photographed taken of the suspect from a neighboring business’s surveillance camera in jpeg format.

Anyone having any information of this crime is asked to call the New Westminster Police at the 604-525-5411 or Crimestoppers. If anyone knows or sees this person, they are not to approach him as he is considered armed and dangerous and should call 911.
